Questions before you start?
Search the most common questions. If yours isn't here, send it and we'll answer you by email.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. You get 7 days of Pro, free, with no card, once per person. That means every Pro tool and the Telegram alerts (up to 400 a day during the trial). When it ends, nothing is charged and nothing renews. You pick a plan only if you want to carry on.
Does it show my bookmaker's odds?
No, on purpose. You type the price you see at your bookmaker and BetTheDrop shows whether it beats the fair price. That works with any bookmaker. We don't compare bookmakers for you and we never place bets.
Will I always find value?
No. Often your bookmaker has already moved, and the calculator will say NO VALUE. That is useful: it tells you to skip. Value shows up when a slower bookmaker still pays more than the fair price. We publish how alerts perform against the close so you can judge for yourself.
How fast do alerts arrive?
Within seconds of the drop being detected. Each alert has the match, market, period, exact selection, price before and after, the fair price and the market's max stake.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes, there's no commitment: cancel from your account and keep access until the end of the paid period. Payments aren't refunded: when you subscribe you ask for immediate access and, once you have it, the right of withdrawal no longer applies.
How much does it cost?
Basic is €39.99 a month and Pro €64.99 a month, VAT included where applicable, and quarterly or yearly plans cost less per month. That is less than full value-betting suites usually charge. Start with 7 days of Pro, free and with no card.
Does it guarantee profits?
No. No tool can. BetTheDrop gives you information: the fair price, the expected value and how alerts perform against the close. Betting involves risk: only stake what you can afford to lose. 18+ only.
How many alerts a day?
Plenty. With the default settings (every sport, drops of 15% or more, pre-match only) it's a few hundred on a busy day. Most people narrow it down in the Account tab: pick your sports, markets, drop size and odds range, and you'll only get the alerts you'd actually bet.
Do I need Telegram?
Only for dropping odds alerts (Pro plan). The calculator and the tracker work on the web, on mobile or desktop.
How do I pay?
Right now we activate plans by email: write to support@betthedrop.com and it's done the same day. Card payment through Stripe is on the way. You pay nothing until you choose a plan.
Is BetTheDrop for me?
It is for people who already bet and want to check prices against a sharp reference. It is not a tipster service, it does not tell you what to bet and it cannot promise profit. New to betting? Start with our value betting guide. 18+ only.
What does the Telegram bot know about me?
The bot messages only you: no groups, no channels. It keeps your chat ID and the name and username Telegram shares with it, to send your alerts. If you write to it, your message reaches our team. Disconnect any time with /stop or in Account.
Is it legal where I live?
BetTheDrop is analysis software: it does not take bets. Whether you can bet, and where, depends on the laws where you live. You must be 18 or over, and you should only use licensed operators.
Will bookmakers limit my account?
They might. Soft bookmakers often limit accounts that keep beating their prices, which is a sign you're betting well. That's why most value bettors keep accounts at several bookmakers.
Which sports and markets are covered?
Football, tennis, basketball, ice hockey, volleyball, handball, American football, baseball, rugby, MMA, boxing, esports and golf. Moneyline, handicap, totals and team totals, for the full game and by period: halves, sets, quarters, periods and maps. Corners and cards for football too.
What is an odds dropper?
An odds dropper is a tool that alerts you when a bookmaker's odds fall sharply, usually the sharpest bookmaker's, so you can check whether slower bookmakers still pay the old price. BetTheDrop is an odds dropper for Telegram that also shows the fair price and the value of your bookmaker's price on every alert.
Does BetTheDrop take bets?
No. BetTheDrop is odds analysis software: it doesn't take bets, doesn't hold money and isn't affiliated with any bookmaker.
