Value betting software

Value betting software that shows you the fair price

Value betting comes down to one question: does your bookmaker pay more than the bet is really worth? BetTheDrop answers it in seconds, on every market, with the margin removed the professional way, and alerts you when the sharp line moves.

What good value betting software has to do

  1. Find the true price. Take the sharpest market's odds and remove the bookmaker's margin properly.
  2. Compare it with your price. Tell you the expected value of the price you can actually get.
  3. Be fast. Value disappears when slower bookmakers catch up.
  4. Keep score. Track every bet and measure it against the closing line, so you know if you have an edge.
  5. Stay honest. No promises of profit: value is a long-run idea and individual bets still lose.

BetTheDrop is built around those five points. Here is how.

Fair odds on every market, margin removed

We take the sharp reference line for the match, the handicap, the total or the team total, for the full game and for each half, set, quarter or map, and strip the margin with the power method. It corrects the favourite–longshot bias that a simple proportional split misses, so you don't see value on longshots where there is none. See the difference yourself in our free no-vig calculator.

The expected value of your bookmaker's price

Search a match, tap a selection and type the price your bookmaker offers. You get the EV at once, the minimum price where value starts and the prices for +2% and +5%.

Alerts when the sharp line drops

On the Pro plan, BetTheDrop sends you a Telegram message within seconds whenever the reference price collapses before kick-off: one bet per message, with the fair price and a button that opens the selection ready to check. A bet tracker that measures what matters

Every bet you track stores its price, your bookmaker, the stake and the EV at that moment. Every alert is measured against the fair closing price, the best-known indicator of long-run value. Learn why in closing line value explained.

Frequently asked questions

What is value betting software?

A tool that estimates the true probability of an outcome, usually from the sharpest market with the margin removed, and compares it with the prices bookmakers offer to find bets with positive expected value.

Is value betting legal?

Yes. Betting at a price you think is good is simply betting well. Bookmakers may limit accounts that win consistently, which is why many value bettors spread their bets.

Does value betting guarantee profit?

No. A value bet still loses often; the edge only shows over many bets. Bet small fixed stakes and only what you can afford to lose.

Do I need to be an expert?

No. BetTheDrop does the maths. Our guides explain the ideas in plain English.
