How to use it
- Type the handicap of the team you backed: β0.75 if they give three-quarters of a goal, +1 if they receive one goal.
- Add your odds and your stake.
- Type the final score from your team's side: their goals first, then the opponent's.
Whole, half and quarter lines
- Whole lines (0, β1, +1β¦): if the adjusted score is level, the bet is a push and you get your stake back.
- Half lines (β0.5, +1.5β¦): there's no push; the bet either wins or loses.
- Quarter lines (β0.25, β0.75, +1.25β¦): your stake is split in two halves on the lines either side, so you can win or lose half your stake.
Examples
| Bet (stake 10) | Final score | Result | Return |
|---|---|---|---|
| β0.25 at 1.95 | 1β1 | Half loss | 5.00 |
| β0.25 at 1.95 | 1β0 | Win | 19.50 |
| β0.75 at 2.05 | 1β0 | Half win | 15.25 |
| β0.75 at 2.05 | 2β0 | Win | 20.50 |
| +1 at 1.80 | 0β1 | Push | 10.00 |
| +1 at 1.80 | 0β2 | Loss | 0.00 |
At β0.75 and a 1β0 win, half of the stake is on β0.5 (wins: 5 Γ 2.05 = 10.25) and half on β1 (push: 5 back), so 15.25 comes back. The full explanation is in Asian handicap explained.
Fair odds on Asian lines
