Which props are open depends on the game: the busiest nights have several hundred across the slate.
Three kinds of NBA prop alert
- Price drop: the over or the under falls 14% or more on the same line, with a score from 0 to 10 and the fair price.
- Line move: the line itself changes, for example points 24.5 → 23.5. If your bookmaker still has the old line, that's where to look.
- Player news: three or more props of the same player move or disappear together. In the NBA that's usually a rest day, a minutes limit or a late scratch, and the teammates' usage changes with it.
Why NBA props are a good place to look
Bookmakers price hundreds of NBA props a night and update many of them in batches. Pinnacle moves first when news or sharp money arrives, so for a while the old price can still be on offer elsewhere.
